CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
We welcome submissions for our Mind the Gap: Bridging the Gap between Applied Practice and Research in Sports, Performance and Psychology. Our theme for our premier conference is – Past, Present, Future: Applied Sport Psychology in India.
Here, we will discuss – ethics and integrity in practice, integration of sport science, mental health in sports, self-care of therapists, to name a few.

ELIGIBILITY
For Oral Presentation –
-
Presenters must be a practitioner of Sport/Performance Psychology, or an allied field of Sport Science (with experience in Psychology) or Psychology (with experience in Sport).
-
They should be holding a Masters’ degree or a Doctoral degree in the field of sport psychology or an allied field with experience in sport.
-
Presentations will be based on original research only.

Research designs allowed are all forms of primary (RCT, correlational, longitudinal studies, etc.) and secondary research (meta-analysis, systematic analysis etc.).

Literature reviews are NOT allowed.
For Poster Presentation -

Presenters must be holding or pursuing a Master’s degree in the field of sport psychology or an allied field with experience in sport.

Posters will be based on original research only.

Research designs allowed are all forms of primary (RCT, correlational, longitudinal studies, etc.) and secondary research (meta-analysis, systematic analysis etc.).

Literature reviews are NOT allowed.
SUBMISSION PROCESS
Please submit the abstract with an appropriate and relevant title at – conference.inspa@gmail.com and research.inspa@gmail.com
When submitting please follow these pointers –

The word limit for the abstract and title of the paper should be 300 words and 12 words, respectively.

The abstract must throw light on the following –

Objectives/purpose of the study
-
Background information which lays the context of the study
-
Design of the study, methods adopted and the rationale for the same
-
Results – numerical and/or textual data, or briefly describe your findings (e.g., themes, discourses identified) for qualitative research.
-
Conclusions drawn from the study, and potential implications/limitations.
-
Do not include references

Abstract should be in PDF format

With the filename: “Last Name_First Name_Abstract.pdf”

And font used – Times New Roman, font size – 12

Subject Line for the email should be: (Nature of Submission – poster/paper) - (Title of the Paper) – (Name of the Presenter)
For example – ‘Poster – Understanding Impact of Solution-focused Brief Therapy on Elite Athletes –Jane Doe’

In the email/cover letter, please introduce yourself (provide supporting pdf document for qualification) and state the relevance of the paper and its relation with the theme of the conference – ‘Past, Present, Future: Applied Sport Psychology in India’.
